Pre-Hung Exterior Doors

What you should know about a prehung exterior door.
Unlike many of our competitors, we send you a completely assembled exterior wood door. This includes having the door actually set in the frame (door jamb) with the hinges attached. The threshold, brick mold, astragal, flush bolts, and sidelights are also completely attached, thus making your pre-hung exterior door ready for the easiest installation possible. We also apply caulk to make it initially weather tight. This all amounts to saving you time, money, and headaches. You and your installer will be very glad it was assembled and shipped this way!

When your pre-hung exterior door system is ready for shipping, it is carefully and individually crated with protective shock absorbing Styrofoam as shown below.
Note: Interior Doors are Knocked Down for all Freight Shipments. This saves space allows for more doors to fit into 1 crate and avoids damage to the jambs. This is optional with Local Deliveries. Ask your salesperson for more details.
